Forgive me for bringing this up, but I feel it needs to be addressed… State of Origin. It was a good thing the team at The Jack were brilliant because watching that game was tough, especially with six massive screens scattered about the venue! Let us not get our stubbies in a knot though, there are still two more games and I am confident Queensland will come through for us. On Friday, I headed to NOA to join an inclusive community of fierce, fearless and passionate women at the latest She Means Business Today event, led by Renee Dembowski and Kristy Vallely. If you haven’t experienced NOA yet, you are seriously missing out!
Service from the experienced team was outstanding while styling by Chrystal and Jess from Two Sisters Events and Styling took the event to the next level. If you’re looking to connect, either professionally or socially, I would strongly recommend attending the next event in September. Saturday night was my first official Instameet with my foodie pals and it was all thanks to Tropical Catering and Events. The impressive team looked after a staggering line up of four major events in one day – an exhibition at the TANKS, a wedding, the Northern Pride home game and the Phillipine Cultural Society of Cairns event at the Pacific Hotel. I could rave all day about Cathy and the team at the Pacific, and I’m looking forward to working (and eating) with them again when the new menu at Bushfire comes out!
