This 2 hour workshop is perfect for any person or business who is considering using social media to market their business. We will talk about the different social media platforms, which platforms are best suited to your business and why. What is the difference between a page and a group? What is a hashtag and do you need one? What is the difference between Facebook and Google+ and do you need both?

This workshop will run for 2 hours and Social Butterfly Marketing will be available for one hour after the workshop to take your questions.

Social Media Strategy

Who needs it?

This workshop is perfect for small to medium-sized businesses who have someone with a moderate knowledge of social media. Participating businesses must have someone willing to work from inside the business to implement the strategies once developed. This is a great workshop for businesses who like to think outside the square, love collaborating and are not afraid to try new things!

Session includes:

  • SBM Preparation and research of current/suggested platforms so on the day we can hit the ground running.
  • Guest speaker: Elisa Gilmore from CorpoWrite will be presenting on LinkedIn.
  • Annual plan template including four detailed quarterly plans that will cover the year ahead.
  • 4 campaign ideas
  • 2 x ½ hour support calls after the training
  • Tools and templates to make your life easier!

Note: Only a small number of attendees in the workshop and only one business from any industry will attend (in other words, your competitors WILL NOT be in the room).

  • Guest Speaker: Kristy Vallely from The Imperfect Mum. How to create a community and run a community.
  • Advice on how to tweak your current news feed to look professional

This is THE workshop for anyone who is sick and tired of spending their hard-earned cash willy nilly on social media advertising! In this workshop, we will show you how to spend it with the confidence that you are targeting and reaching YOUR customers. This workshop is great for businesses who have realised the power of advertising through social media channels and who are ready to use it to increase profits. You will also learn how to analyse the results of your efforts!

  • Introduction to advertising on various social media platforms and which ones are best suited to your business needs.
  • We will work out who your customer is and what that looks like when you are creating an advertisement.
  • Guest speaker: Nicky Jurd from Precedence will be presenting on Google AdWords and showing us how to create one!
  • You will get hands on experience. We will be creating various advertisements for your business at the workshop, including GoogleAd.
  • Work out how much money you should spend for the best result.
